Chisaki Tohsaki is a teenaged girl. She is just a little taller than the average and has an athletic build that has filled out some with age. Her face is pretty, with a small nose and high cheekbones, and she has dark brown eyes. Her hair is shoulder-length and light brown, with bangs swept to the left on her forehead. She has golden red highlights mixed into her hair.

At present, she is wearing the equipment and clothing she prefers for going out monster hunting. This consists, first and foremost, of a pair of goggles. They usually sit on her forehead, and have a black strap and rims, with gold-colored lenses. She also has a black jacket on, which is usually left open; it has large pockets on the front and dark blue lining on the inside.

The young woman also wears a dark grey sleeveless T-shirt, the front of which is usually visible underneath the open jacket. She has dark blue jeans on, and wears calf-high combat boots with a steel-plated toe. A belt goes around her waist, with a few loops; each has a foot-long iron spike fit through them.

Her crossbow hangs over her back. A strap puts it over her shoulder and runs across her chest, and the weapon is particularly noticeable; it is made of wood, with a nicely polished finish, and has a taught bow string and small hand crank. It also has a pistol trigger built into it, which she took off an airsoft gun.
