The guy is named Anzai Mizuno, about seventeen years old. He's tall for a Japanese kid - just under six feet at this point - and starting to fill out into what's eventually going to be a pretty muscular build. Not quite there yet, though. He's got black hair, worn short, and dark brown eyes. He wears glasses normally, but often takes them off during all the monster-hunting since they're a bit of an obvious target and he's not blind without them.

Clothing is something you should feel free to be creative about; I tend to mix up what he's wearing fairly often, though he prefers long pants over shorts. The only constants are a leather satchel (worn hanging off his left hip, the strap running diagonally across his chest over the right shoulder) for useful gear and his weapon of choice, which is a simple and well-used bo staff. Anzai is an apprentice shrine keeper, or kannushi, and thus almost always carries an ofuda or two on hand.
